Katie was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL and later graduated from Stetson University with a degree in Health Sciences. Since, her career path has involved both teaching at Palmetto Christian Academy and helping people achieve their fitness goals through personal training at MUSC wellness center. Whether helping in kids ministry, singing on the worship team, or leading life groups, Katie’s passion for serving and sharing the love of Christ has always been a deep calling in her life. After living in Texas for the last 4 years, Katie is thrilled to be back in Charleston with her husband, Jason, and their two children, Brie and Camp. Katie is now overwhelmed with joy and excitement to be a part of the children’s ministry team.
