BiG™ Lowcountry (formerly Evergreen Collective) is a God-centered vocational community that provides meaningful work, a sense of belonging, and dignity and respect for adults with disabilities.

BiG Lowcountry is a God-centered vocational community that provides:

  • meaningful work

  • a sense of belonging

  • dignity and respect for adults with disabilities

Updates:

We are currently encountering zoning and permitting delays. But we know that:

Every God-given vision will become real if we only have patience … Ever since God gave us the vision, He has been at work … He is getting us into the shape of the goal He has for us … what God wants you to be down here.
— Oswald Chambers

While we wait, we are meeting with local adults with special needs (“Citizens”) to get to know each other, to explore potential enterprises for our vocational community, and to just love on them. We started a new enterprise in July: Oyster Shell Crafts!

MOST CRITICAL NEEDS:

  • PICNIC TABLE – old and decrepit is fine w/us!

  • CPA – to join our board

  • FUNDS – to purchase the interior items needed for our greenhouse, like workbenches, seeds, soil etc.
